The Disability Discrimination Act 2005 (DDA) gives disabled people rights of access to everyday services, including those provided by local councils.

Service providers have an obligation to make reasonable adjustments to their premises or to the way they provide a service.

Wokingham Town Hall is a Listed Building, and to some extent this places limits on modifications that can be carried out to the fabric of the building.

Nevertheless, Wokingham Town Council has taken steps to ensure that wherever possible the Town Hall is accessible to all our guests, and has the staff and equipment to provide assistance where needed.
