Terms and Conditions

1. All entries must register with school or uniformed organisations full name, address, and contact details (email and
   phone number), age of students/members created the artwork and their name.
2. The submission of the art work’s name/title, dimension, the idea or inspiration it’s based on and photo(s) received no
   later than 1st May 2020 midnight. The submission can be made via email (marketandbloom@wokingham-tc.gov.uk),
   our website (https://www.wokingham-tc.gov.uk/recycling-art) and at the reception of the Town Hall (Market Place,
   Wokingham, RG40 1AS) between 10.00 am and 2.00pm.
3. Any entrants may enter only one design per age group. One organisation can enter more than one age groups.
   Following age groups specified: 0-7 / 7-10 / 10-14 / beyond 14
4. Entries must conform to the following guidelines:
   4.1 Projects should include at least 90% recycled or recyclable materials
   4.2 Submissions can include elements such as:

• Painting *Collage *Sculpture *Drawing *Product design from found objects.
  4.2 The maximum size of the recycled art can be between 1.5 * 2 meters, however it is not the size we will
  judge. The winning entrant must ensure the art installation will be transported to Wokingham Town Centre
  for exhibition, and assist with the final installation.
  4.4 If possible we would like to exhibit the art installation at the Town Hall, or depending on the used materials
  and design in a public park for a 2 week period.
  4.5 Basic judging criteria:
   Effective use of recycled/reused materials
   Originality and Innovation
   Creativity
   Overall Presentation

1. Judging will begin on 1 st June 2020 by the Wokingham in Bloom Committee Member(s), a WTC officer and a councillor
   of the Town (names of final judges confirmed closer to the date). The actual date and the time for the judges’ visit will
   be agreed individually by the organisations.
2. Winner(s) will be announced 20 th June on Wokingham Town Council website and notified via letter or email.
3. The committee reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that does not, in its judgment, comply with
   contest rules. Decision of the committee is final.
4. The winning Entrant(s) will:
   8.1 1 st place: receive a gift card valued of £75.00
   8.2 2 nd place: receive a gift card valued of £50.00
   8.3 3 rd place: receive a gift card valued of £25.00
   8.4 have their photo included in the logo contest announcements on social media
5. The Committee reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition at any time. This includes
   the right to not select a winner if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received.
6. Any Entrant agrees and accepts their work will be used for advertising campaigns and/or marketing materials in the
   future and may alter, modify or revise the Entry as it sees necessary.
7. Wokingham Town Council and the bloom committee will process information about you in accordance with its
   Privacy Policy.
8. If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that Wokingham Town Council and the Bloom Committee may
   use your name, image to announce the winner of this competition and for any other reasonable and related
   promotional purposes.
