Song Sheet

Daisy Bell

Daisy. Daisy. Give me your answer do
I’m half crazy, all for the love of you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage.
I can’t afford a carriage
But you’ll look sweet upon the seat,
of a bicycle made for two

Bless ‘em All

Bless em all, bless em all, the long and the short and the tall
Bless all the sergeants and their w.o. ones,
Bless all the corp’rals and their blinkin sons,
‘Cause we’re saying goodbye to them all, as back to their billets they crawl
You’ll get no promotion this side of the ocean, so cheer up my lads, bless ’em all
You’ll get no promotion this side of the ocean, so cheer up my lads, bless ’em all

It’s a Long way to Tipperary

It’s a long way to Tipperary,
And it’s a long way to go.
It’s a long way to Tipperary

To the sweetest girl I know!
Farewell, Piccadilly,
Goodbye, Leicester Square!
It’s a long long way to Tipperary,
But my heart’s right there.

Pack up your troubles

Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag
And smile, smile, smile.
While you’ve a lucifer to light your fag
Smile boys, that’s the style
What’s the use of worrying
It never was worth while
So, pack up your troubles in your old kit bag
And smile, smile, smile.

You made me love you

You made me love you. I didn’t want to do it. I didn’t want to do it.
You made me want you, And all the time you knew it. I guess you always knew it
You made me happy sometimes.   You made me glad
But there were times Dear.     You made me feel so bad

You made me cry for.  I didn’t want to tell you.  I didn’t want to tell you
I need some love that’s true…   Yes, I do,   ‘deed I do..     You know I do
Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme  what I cry for Y
ou know you’ve got the kind of kisses,That I’d die for
You know you made me love you

Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside!
Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside!
Oh! I do like to be beside the sea!
Oh I do like to stroll along the Prom, Prom, Prom!
Where the brass bands play, “Tiddely-om-pom-pom!”

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!

Oh! I do like to be beside the sea!

Oh When I’m beside the sea,
I’ll be beside myself with glee
beside the seaside, beside the sea!

Let’s All Go Down The Strand

Let’s all go down the Strand (Have a banana)
Let’s all go down the Strand.
I’ll be leader, and you can march behind,
Come with me and see what we can find.

Let’s all go down the Strand (Have a banana)
Lets all go down the Strand.
That’s the place for fun and noise
Down amongst the girls and boys

So let’s all go down the Strand. (Have a banana)

DON’T DILLY DALLY ON THE WAY

Chorus: My old man said follow the van
And don’t dilly-dally on the way
Off went the cart with the home packed in it
I walked behind with me old cock linnet
But I dillied and I dallied
And I dallied and I dillied
Lost the van and don’t know where to roam
You can’t trust these specials like the old time coppers
When you can’t find your way home.

Down at the old Bull and Bush

Come, come, come and make eyes at me
down at the Old Bull and Bush,
Da, da, da, da, da,
Come, come, drink some port wine with me,
Down at the Old Bull and Bush,
Hear the little German Band,
Da, da, da, da, da,
Just let me hold your hand dear,
Do, do come and have a drink or two
down at the Old Bull and Bush, Bush, Bush.
