Theatre in the Park: Hooray for Mr Toad

Event Details

Theatre in the Park is back! Fresh for 2019 this family arts event goes from strength to strength.

Join us this May as we present a fantastic musical adventure suitable for the whole family. “Hooray! For Mr Toad” will be presented outside in the Howard Palmer Gardens and it’s free!
The indomitable Mr Toad and his friends Ratty, Mole and Badger have a brand new, totally epic, quest. Help our heroes find the source of the river and defeat the wicked fox, Crimson Scar and his cronies the Stoats and Weasels, as they plan to destroy the riverbank and steal all the treasure!

Complete with comedy, music, dancing, face painting and audience participation this show is a real treat for young and the young at heart alike!

Written by Wokingham based playwright Bart Lee with music by Andrew Holdsworth.

Performances will be at 11am and 3pm on Sunday 26 May and are free but space is limited. Please bring your own chairs, a rug and join us for this picnic in the park theatre event.
