Do you know one? Please tell us about them

Wokingham Town Council will be celebrating ‘Extraordinary Women’ at our Heritage open Day on September 15th, in line with National Heritage Open Days across the country.

On the day, we will be highlighting a number of ‘Extraordinary Women‘ with a connection to Wokingham whom we have identified, however we would love to hear from you too!

We’d like to create a ‘Wall of local Extraordinary Women’ nominated by you with quotes as to why the woman you have chosen is extraordinary and a photograph if possible.

So what makes a woman extraordinary? Nominated women could be from the past or present, pioneers, employees, community leaders, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and friends - who have touched lives, are making a difference, have brought about change, or left a legacy that should be cherished.

How to nominate someone..
