Description

A silver punch ladle; the round part chased bowl, with everted lip and bearing engraved monogram initials "R.M.S." in base of bowl (it is not known to whom this refers) with turned wood baluster handle and having plain bifurcated terminal.

There appears to be no record as to how this item came to be in the Council's possession but it appears to be of early 18th century origin.
