Heritage Day

Heritage Open Days is an annual national celebration of England's culture, architecture and history. Spanning four days this event encourages locations of historical importance to open their doors. Wokingham Town Council works with other local organisations to produce an annual Heritage Day  which includes open access to the Town Hall and often includes historical displays, activities and community engagement.

NOTE: Due to COVID opening times and locations may look a little different.

For heritage day the Town Hall is open from 10am to 4pm to view the artefacts in the Town Council's collection as well as lots of fun activities and displays for all ages. Other venues are open throughout the full Heritage Open Days timeframe.

A programme is available from the Information Centre in the Town Hall as well as online.
