Wokingham Party in the Park 2025: A Spectacular Return to Elms Field!

The countdown has begun for the much-anticipated return of Wokingham Party in the Park, set to take place in Elms Field with a brand new line up of entertainment and acts on Saturday, 7th June 2025!

Brought to you by the Wokingham Town Council, this beloved festival promises a day of unforgettable entertainment and community spirit for all to enjoy.

Prepare to dance the day away as the stage comes alive with an incredible lineup of musical acts!

Line-up

Starting us off at 3pm are Iris a three part country act. Expect girl power and fantastic vocals to get us all up and dancing to covers of hits like ‘9-5’, ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’ and ‘Man, I Feel Like a Woman’. 

Next on are SuperSKAs an authentic tribute to ska and two tone. With Bestival under their belt and praise from legendary ska band The Specials you better get practicing your skanking. 

Into the evening we have The Magnets dubbed the UK’s no1 acapella supergroup.  Their vocal and beatboxing talents have led them to a record deal with EMI and perform alongside Blondie, Bryan Adams and Tom Jones. 

You might recognise our headline act Fully Funktional. A Wokingham favourite returning to Party in the Park after a few years they will be bringing party anthems and boundless energy to end the evening with a real high.

You are very welcome to bring a picnic or visit one of the local businesses around the Town.

There is a free water fountain between Elms Field and Alexandra Court (near Core Connections).

Last year saw an incredible turnout of over 4000 people from in and around Wokingham, with families and groups coming together to soak up the festive atmosphere. And this year promises to be even bigger and better!

So, mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and join in for a day of music, food, and fun at Wokingham Party in the Park 2025! The first act will be hitting the stage at 3pm and the festivities winding down at 9pm.

Accessibility

To ensure the event can be enjoyed by everyone, there will be an accessibility viewing platform for those requiring a higher viewing area or a less crowded space. The fantastic British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters will be returning , signing along to each act. If you have any questions about how to access these areas in advance, please contact Wokingham Town Council directly.

Picnic blankets and camping chairs are welcome, but we ask that you do not bring gazebos as they can block the view of others

Serviced toilets will be available on site

Dogs are allowed on site but must be leashed at all times. We remind dog owners that this event is very noisy and busy with a lot of sensory input for our canine pals so please bear that in mind before deciding to bring your dog.

Travel & Parking

Elms Field (RG40 2AA) is centrally located within Wokingham.

Bus

The 145 and 121 stop opposite the park. All other Wokingham centre bound buses stop at Wokingham Broad Street and Wokingham Railway Station. Both approximately a 5 minute walk to the venue.

Train

Wokingham Railway station is a few minutes walk up Wellington Road from the venue. Trains run frequently from Bracknell, Reading and London, and stations in between and beyond.

For both buses and trains please check timetables for late night Saturday running and any engineering works.

Cycle

There are limited cycle racks on Elms Field. There are also cycle racks and limited secure cycle storage facilities at Carnival Hub (over the road from the venue) and Denmark Street car park.

Car Parking

Elms Field is a few minutes walk from a number of Council and private carparks.

Carnival Multi-storey, Shute End Council Offices (both local Council car parks) and Elms Road (NCP) are the closest. Other car parks are available.
